Contribute Your Research to South Australia’s Living History Archive

PHA (SA) members are invited to share their historical research, writings, and archival material focused on South Australian topics. Contributions may include previously produced work such as commissioned reports, heritage studies, chronologies, biographies, organisational histories, or thematic essays covering areas like settlement, religion, work, entertainment, and key industries including wool and mining.

Submissions can range from short paragraphs to full articles, and reworked or updated material is also welcome, especially where new insights or imagery can enhance earlier work. While published books are generally not included, selected excerpts may be considered, and longer heritage survey materials may be accepted where copyright permissions allow.

All contributors must hold the necessary rights to their work or secure permission for publication. Both text and images are encouraged, provided copyright is fully cleared and confirmed at submission. Image-led essays are also acceptable.

Each submission should include a brief abstract, the author’s name, and contact details where possible. Work will be published as provided, allowing for an eclectic, member-driven collection that showcases the depth and diversity of historical research within the community.
